Community Homes allow individuals with intellectual disabilities to live with independence and dignity with the support of a caring and experienced staff.
Offered through JEVS Community Living and Home Supports (CLHS), Community Homes provides specialized 24-hour support for a single or a few individuals per residence in 22 Community Homes throughout Philadelphia and Montgomery Counties. Each community home offers an environment that enhances each individual's interests and abilities, and an emphasis is placed on community involvement, stability, and maintaining important ties to families and loved ones.
- Supports individuals to achieve their full potential and independence
- Maintains and strengthens relationships with friends and families
- Actively supports engagement with the community — providing support for individuals to serve as volunteers; to engage in religious, cultural, and social activities; to use public transportation; to patronize local businesses; and to enjoy trips and vacations
- Provides excellent direct support to ensure that the individual remains safe in a family-style home
Adults with an intellectual disability and Medicaid waiver approval.
All admissions referred through Intellectual disAbilities Services in Philadelphia, the Montgomery County Office of Intellectual Disabilities and Behavioral Health, or the Pennsylvania State Office of Developmental Programs.

Room and board charge is based on a review of the individual's income including Social Security and Supplemental Security Income (SSI).
Currently JEVS Human Services operates 18 Community Homes in the Northeast, Frankford and Mt. Airy sections of Philadelphia and four homes in Montgomery County.
