Mobile Psychiatric Rehabilitation (MPR) provides services that help individuals with severe mental health disorders remain in their own homes. Through customized support, individuals develop independent living skills, find employment, become self-sufficient, and participate in community activities. Recovery Educators work together with participants to create recovery plans that help individuals reach personal goals and maintain ongoing support.
Services
- Individual goal plans and network of supports for independent living, including:
- Natural supports in the community
- In-home supports
- Representative payee and employer/employee supports
- Assistive technology resources and training
Eligibility
- Residents of Philadelphia County aged 18 or older who have a diagnosis of a severe mental health challenge that includes moderate to severe functional impairment yet have also demonstrated the ability to live independently with support.
- For consideration, individuals must have a referral from the Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual Disabilities Services.
Cost
Free for those who qualify to receive Department of Behavioral Health Security Income (SSI).
