The grant will help digitally transform the nonprofit to serve more clients, and increase access to technology and education

Philadelphia, PA (June 20, 2024) JEVS Human Services (JEVS) is proud to announce that it has been selected as one of four nonprofit organizations worldwide to receive the ServiceNow.org Partnership for Good Grant. This grant will help transform JEVS into a holistic services provider, with a universal intake process, enabling the organization to expand access to education and technology for clients, and ultimately serve more individuals in need.

JEVS was awarded a grant in the Hunger and Poverty Alleviation focus area. The grant, launched in collaboration with Accenture, is awarded to nonprofits tackling the root causes and consequences of poverty and hunger. The grant will help address interrelated needs like education and health to break the cycle of poverty, and advocate for policy changes to promote economic stability.

The grant will support the transformation of JEVS through three areas: upgraded digital infrastructure and technology, implementation and support and ongoing guidance. The grant also includes $100K in unrestricted funds.

“JEVS is extremely grateful to ServiceNow and Accenture for investing in the future of our communities through this grant,” said Cynthia Figueroa, JEVS CEO & President. “This funding will play a significant role in amplifying JEVS mission to help thousands more individuals achieve personal independence and fulfillment.”

“As the AI platform for business transformation, ServiceNow is thrilled to support nonprofits like JEVS Human Services in their transformation efforts to improve services, reach, and impact for thousands of individuals,” said Vanessa Smith, ServiceNow.org President. “Our partnership is a testament to the organization’s long history of dedication to excellence in providing jobs, education, and vital services.”

“Our collaboration with ServiceNow.org through its Grant for Good program is one of our many contributions to help organizations around the world run more efficiently in order to drive more economic opportunities for individuals, families, and communities,” said David Kanter, ServiceNow Business Group Lead at Accenture. “Supporting JEVS efforts to alleviate hunger and poverty can help enable sustainable lives and ultimately make a positive impact in the world.”
