Part of JEVS’ efforts to improve our support for the LGBTQ+ community has been to partner with the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), which supports LGBTQ+ individuals, allies, and institutions with various resources. JEVS Human Services was invited to participate in a pilot, Inclusion Inventory program which aims to assess how equitably our organization treats our LGBTQ+ participants, employees, vendors, etc. Through this Inventory, JEVS has identified areas we are committed to improving.

The HRC group meets once a month to do the work that will facilitate these changes. We are excited to continue to move these efforts forward.
