PASS Program Podcast Stream – Spring 2016

PASS Podcast

Students from George Washington High School and H.H. Furness High School spent after-school hours in the PASS Program – Preparing For, Attaining and Sustaining Success. Along the way, they picked up some valuable podcasting skills, producing, writing and editing stories and reports about contemporary issues faced by today’s youth.

Watching students grapple with difficult questions, manage complex group dynamics, and develop time management skills in stressful situations was very valuable, both for the students and program administrators. Many PASS participants expressed some initial discomfort when faced with the prospect that there is no one “right” answer or “correct” way to share perspectives or tell a story, and it was extremely powerful to watch them embrace the possibilities that such a project gave to them.

Here are their stories.
